Fees
Fees
Our fees are below the official Australian Psychological Society (APS) Recommended Fees.
Please contact our reception team for information as to what our fees are. The full fee is payable at the end of each session.
Please note that requests for additional reports, letters to funding agencies, non-standard letters to medical practitioners will incur a fee (hourly rate applies).
Referrals & Rebates
You do not need a referral to obtain an appointment.
Private Health Insurance Funds
CPCCF Psychologists are registered with all major private health insurance providers.
Medicare
A referral from a GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist will allow you to claim a Medicare rebate. Our reception team can provide information as to how these rebates apply to your circumstances.
You can also check the Medicare website for current information regarding Medicare rebates under The Better Access to Psychiatrists, Psychologists and General Practitioners through the Medicare Benefits Schedule Initiative.
Cancellation Policy
We use text reminders, phone calls and emails to ensure you confirm your appointment within the required time frame.
If you then cancel or postpone your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment you will be charged a fee, regardless of the reason for the change or cancellation.
The only exception to this will be if you provide CPCCF with a copy of a valid medical certificate.
This process will be outlined both verbally and in writing at the time of your first appointment.
Please provide as much notice as possible of any cancellations or changes.
Third Party payments
We regularly provide services which are paid for by third parties.
Please contact our Practice Manager if a third party will be paying on your behalf.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
If you are self-managed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you can make an appointment and pay privately using your funding.
